Qualifications

• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing on-field presence in Guelph, ON with remote administrative and planning tasks.
• Relevant coaching certifications and prior experience in a technical or coaching coordinator role are strong assets.

With over 6,000 members, it is the largest sports club in the city, serving primarily youth participants between the ages of 3 and 18. Role Description

The Coach Development Manager is a full-time role responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating coach education and development initiatives across all club programs. This hybrid position is based in Guelph, ON, with a combination of on-site work at fields and facilities and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing coach development pathways, organizing clinics and workshops, mentoring and supporting coaches, and ensuring alignment with club philosophies and national standards. The role also involves assessing coach performance, providing constructive feedback, maintaining coaching resources and curriculum, and collaborating with technical staff and administrators to meet program objectives. The Coach Development Manager will contribute to a positive, inclusive environment, uphold safeguarding standards, and help foster long-term player and coach development within the club.
