Job summary

AGS Youth Soccer Club in Brampton is seeking an energetic Youth Soccer Coach Manager to deliver high-quality coaching across age groups and to support program operations.

The role blends on-court coaching with off-court administration, supervising staff, and liaison duties with management. Availability in the evenings and select weekends is required, with coaching certifications viewed as an asset.

Qualifications

• Passionate about working with and engaging young children.
• Availability on weekday evenings (4pm–8pm) and/or weekends (9am–12pm on Sat/Sun).
• Reliable, professional, organized and proactive in problem-solving.
• Experience mentoring/supervising other coaches or staff.
• Energetic, enthusiastic personality with children, parents and staff.
• Coaching certification (Active Start, FUNdamentals, Learn to Train etc.) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging soccer sessions for children aged 18 months to 13 years, tailored to age and skill level.
• Supervise and mentor a team of part-time and seasonal coaches to ensure program quality and safety.
• Oversee session setup, event operations, and daily programming.
• Provide on-field and off-field training to coaching staff.
• Act as the primary liaison between front-line coaches and the management team.
• Communicate regularly with management to support operational needs and coach development.

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Youth Soccer Coach Manager to be responsible for delivering high-quality basketball coaching to players of all ages and skill levels. This role requires a combination of on-court coaching and off-court administration tasks.

Requirements

• Passionate about working with and engaging young children is a must
• Availability on weekday evenings (between 4pm - 8pm) and/or weekends (between 9am - 12pm on Saturday/ Sunday)
• Reliable and professional. Organized, and proactive in problem-solving
• Experience managing, mentoring, and/or supervising other coaches or staff
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality who enjoys working with children, parents, and co-workers
• Lead engaging soccer sessions for children aged 18 months to 13 years, tailored to age and skill level

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with children and deliver feedback to parents
• Available to work through Summer and Winter seasons.

Ideal Experience

• Experience working with children ages 2 - 12 years old
• Preference for experienced soccer coaches who are able to work with both Toddler and Youth ages
• Experience with other types of young child sports organizations (SportBall, City Camps, Pedalheads, etc.) or soccer environments (Little Kickers, Timbits Soccer, House Leagues, etc.)
• Coaching certification (Active Start, FUNdamentals, Learn to Train, etc.) is an asset
• Complete both of our short assessments (about 5 minutes each) before or right after applying. Applications with both completed are reviewed first:
