Job summary

Crowe MacKay LLP Canada in Kelowna invites accounting students to join as co-ops for January or September 2027 starts, 4 or 8 month terms. You will gain practical experience while pursuing CPA designation, with training, peer support, and day-to-day mentoring.

Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, corporate and personal tax returns, and assisting in year-end engagements. You will work with Sage 50, CaseWare, QuickBooks, and MS Office in a collaborative, growth-focused

Qualifications

We are recruiting 3-4 Co-op Students (January or September 2027 starts / 4 or 8 Month terms) to join our Kelowna office.

The Role
  • Prepare financial statements and supporting documents.
  • Prepare corporate and personal income tax returns, including related filings and schedules.
  • Prepare and/or assist in the preparation of corporate year ends, which includes compilation, review, and audit engagements.
  • Meet deadlines as assigned by the partners or senior staff accountants.
  • Participate in education, training and professional development programs.
  • Be prepared to work hard and have fun.
  • Work independently and in a team environment under the direction of the leadership.
  • Basic understanding of various software programs, including Sage 50, CaseWare , QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office is a definite asset.
  • Completion of additional ad-hoc administrative duties or assignments as required.
