Job summary

Crowe MacKay LLP Canada in Calgary invites accounting students to join our co-op from January to August 2027. Gain practical experience while pursuing CPA prerequisites in a supportive, training-focused environment.

You'll prepare financial statements, income tax returns, and year-end work under partner guidance, with access to Sage 50, CaseWare, QuickBooks and MS Office. We value teamwork, commitment to deadlines, and continual professional development.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements and supporting documents.
  • Prepare corporate and personal income tax returns and related filings.
  • Prepare corporate year ends, including compilation, review and audit engagements.
  • Meet deadlines as assigned by the partners or senior staff.
  • Participate in education, training and professional development programs.
  • Work independently and in a team environment under leadership.
  • Basic understanding of various software programs, including Sage 50, CaseWare, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office is a definite asset.
  • Completion of additional ad-hoc administrative duties or assignments as required.

We are recruiting Co-op Students to join our Calgary office from January to August 2027. All applications received by September 13, 2026 will be considered.

The Role
  • Prepare financial statements and supporting documents.
  • Prepare corporate and personal income tax returns, including related filings and schedules.
  • Prepare and/or assist in the preparation of corporate year ends, which includes compilation, review, and audit engagements.
  • Meet deadlines as assigned by the partners or senior staff accountants.
  • Participate in education, training and professional development programs.
  • Be prepared to work hard and have fun.
  • Work independently and in a team environment under the direction of the leadership.
  • Basic understanding of various software programs, including Sage 50, CaseWare, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office is a definite asset.
  • Completion of additional ad-hoc administrative duties or assignments as required.
