Job summary

Carbon Engineering seeks an enrolled Canadian student for an 8-month co-op, starting January 2027, to support process engineering and operations in Squamish, BC and later in Ector County, TX. Relocation assistance and company-paid accommodation are included, with travel costs covered by the company.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, field support during testing, data analysis, and engineering documentation across plant upgrades and HAZOP/What-If analyses as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institute (2nd, 3rd, or 4th year).
• Preference to Chemical Engineering discipline (B.Eng or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot plant startup and production issues through field assessments and data review.
• Provide in-field technical support to operations during testing, commissioning, or production runs.
• Act as a liaison between technical team and operations to clarify objectives and communicate findings.
• Collect plant data and lab results; analyze performance against test campaigns.
• Support upgrades from early design to commissioning and document changes.
