Job summary

Huawei Canada is seeking a Co-op Engineer in Markham, Ontario, for an 8-16 month program. The role focuses on analyzing and refactoring research prototypes, deploying AI models on Huawei mobile devices, and integrating research outcomes into Huawei’s mobile system.

You'll work with Android or HarmonyOS demo apps, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to state-of-the-art research applied to products and services.

Qualifications

• In pursuit of BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering.
• Proficient in at least one of the following programming languages: C/C++, Python, Typescript, or Java.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning.
• Excellent team player; strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Excellent documentation and organization skills.
• Knowledge of mobile development such as Android and IOS is an asset.

Responsibilities

The total target annual compensation for this position ranges from $58,000 to $104,000 depending on education, experience, and demonstrated expertise.
