Job summary

Town of Caledon is seeking a High School Co-op Student for Community Facilities at the Caledon East Community Complex, 6215 Old Church Rd, Caledon, ON. The role supports a range of administrative and maintenance tasks while learning in a structured co-op program with local schools.

Ideal candidates are enrolled full-time in secondary education, registered in a co-op course, with strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office. Transportation to Caledon East is expected as part of duties.

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled full-time in an accredited secondary institution.
  • Currently enrolled in a co-op credit course.
  • Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Teams at a minimum.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Data entry, filing, answering phones, monitor general inbox, scanning training records, cataloging supplies and vendor lists.
  • Assist with Records Management.
  • Perform indoor and outdoor maintenance tasks (sweep, mop, vacuum, clean washrooms/changerooms, empty garbages, litter pick exterior parking lot, wash windows etc.).
  • Inventory of supplies, equipment and creating stores order forms.
  • Assist with Special Events in room rentals including setting up and taking down functions.
