What you’ll do...
- Support and partner with the Store Manager to ensure smooth execution of daily store activities and achievement of sales goals and metrics; perform management tasks and sales coaching duties in the Store Manager’s absence.
- Conduct daily gear-up and team meetings to update staff on performance expectations, best practices, sales goals, product knowledge, inventory, and promotion activities.
- Model Danier’s professional sales and customer service standards and coach sales floor staff, including reinforcing sales goals, monitoring productivity, and identifying training needs.
- Assist in recruiting and developing sales staff to identify, grow, and motivate high-performing sales talent and team building.
- Build customer relationships through engaging service that makes customers feel cared for and confident about their purchases.
- Create and maintain visually appealing merchandising and window displays following brand standards, either personally or by delegating tasks.
- Oversee store operations and resolve issues related to staff scheduling, merchandise, loss prevention, and standards to ensure a safe shopping and working environment during shifts.
- Open and close the store, safeguard premises and assets, count floats, report discrepancies, and complete daily checklists and delegated tasks.
- Document and escalate customer and employee issues requiring management intervention.
- Participate in weekly management calls in the Manager’s absence, reporting on performance metrics, market conditions, and sharing best practices.
- Act as a Danier Ambassador by demonstrating and promoting the company's mission, vision, and values daily.
What you’ll bring to the team…
- Fashion retail experience as a key holder with a proven sales track record and team leadership exposure.
- Successful completion and ongoing demonstration of Danier’s professional CODE sales and customer service training concepts.
- Ability to meet or exceed KPI targets.
- Open availability with a minimum of 4 shifts weekly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive, results-oriented attitude with a customer-first mindset.
- Fashionable, well-groomed professional appearance.
- Proficiency with email, Excel/Word, POS, staff scheduling applications, etc.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills in English.
- Strong sales, customer service, and rapport-building skills.
