Job summary

National Carwash Solutions is seeking a CNC Setter/Operator in Barrie, Ontario. You will machine components for production, monitor quality, and adjust programs to ensure parts meet engineering drawings. Experience with Haas CNC mills is preferred, with emphasis on accuracy and safety in a fast-paced shop.

You will be responsible for setting up machines, preparing CNC programs, and supporting the machining team. A strong reading of drawings and precise measurement skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• An Associate degree or 2-year machining program preferred.
• Experience as a setter/machinist in manufacturing (3+ years) is required.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency in reading calipers and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Produce parts on CNC Mills and Lathes per engineering drawings.
• Prepare CNC programs and set up machines.
• Support setup and operation personnel in a fast-paced shop.
• Adjust offsets/code to ensure part accuracy.
• Follow OHSA and company safety policies.
