Job summary

Schaeffler Aerospace Canada Inc. in Stratford, Ontario is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join a dynamic team. You will develop CNC programs from production prints, collaborate with the tooling department, and ensure accurate, high-quality manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs according to productions prints provided.
• With Tooling department identify and coordinate the required tooling as per production prints.
• Perform basic problem solving and troubleshoot to resolve production/process issues to meet required standards.
• Responsible for accuracy and functionality of machine programs to perform required process(es). Analyze machine/program problems and take corrective action in timely manner.
• Follow and accurately record/safe data as directed in production tracking systems.
• Required to perform inspection of own work.
• Required to train other programmers as needed.
• May be required to perform work for other departments or occasionally to set up a process for others to operate.
• Ability to read and interpret production prints.
• Requires adequate computer skills to access production procedures to perform the required work.
• Responsible for excellent housekeeping and maintaining 5S in all areas.

Your Qualifications

• Education: Grade 12 diploma
• Experience: Related turning and milling experience or mechanical aptitude
