Job summary

Soucy Group in Drummondville is seeking a focused CNC operator. You will setup and commission machining centers and lathes, interpret blueprints, and feed equations with precision on a 12‑hour night shift (day shifts possible).

You will adjust, repair and fabricate tooling, inspect parts with measuring instruments, and keep an orderly, safe workspace. The role offers a full-time permanent position with shift-based bonuses and steady opportunities for skill growth.

Qualifications

• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Comfort with math and precision-oriented tasks.
• Experience with CNC equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make the necessary adjustments and setups to commission CNC machining equipment (machining centers and lathes).
• Repair and fabricate molds, jigs, or other parts according to drawings.
• Fabricate cutting tools to produce unconventional shapes.
• Sharpen drill bits and cutting tools.
• Use measuring instruments to inspect parts for compliance.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Perform any other tasks requested by your immediate supervisor.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Full-time permanent position
• Shift: 12-hour night shift (mostly), but 12-hour day shifts are also possible
• Salary: $33.72 starting, $36.78 after 960 hours worked, and $38.28 after 1,920 hours worked
• Bonuses: $2.50/hour for night shifts
