The role focuses on programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce components within tight tolerances in a hands-on production shop. The ideal candidate brings 3–5+ years of CNC machining experience, proficiency with FANUC and MAPPS controllers, and the ability to read intricate drawings.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience with CNC programming, setup, and operation.
• Experience programming using FANUC controllers.
• Experience with MAPPS controllers.
• Experience with Mori Seiki, Doosan, Nakamura-Tome equipment is an asset.
• Ability to operate conventional mills and lathes.
• Strong understanding of machining tolerances and quality requirements.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools.
• Safety-focused with a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines while ensuring components are produced accurately and within required tolerances. This is a hands‑on production shop environment supporting the manufacturing of medium- to heavy-duty conveyor components for the bulk material handling industry. The ideal candidate is an experienced machinist with strong attention to detail who is comfortable working with CNC and conventional equipment.
