Job summary

IATGlobal Manufacturing, a leader in precision manufacturing, is seeking a Machinist to join our production team. You will plan operations, program CNC mills and lathes, set up equipment, inspect first-run parts, and help ensure safety and quality across shifts.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming utilizing Mastercam, Fusion, and G-Codes.
• Experience operating CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) is preferred (1 year).
• Strong understanding of machining parameters, blueprints, and engineering plans.
• Ability to interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
• Solid mathematical and trigonometric skills for calculations.
• Commitment to quality assurance procedures and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan machining operations by reviewing work orders, blueprints and engineering plans; apply GD&T to ensure accuracy.
• Manage stock inventory and coordinate orders to maintain material flow.
• Program and optimize CNC mills and lathes; set instructions, tool registers and offsets.
• Set up machining equipment and load raw materials for production runs.
• Verify machine settings; inspect first-run parts against international quality standards.
• Maintain machining specifications; observe processes, troubleshoot, and adjust controls or tools as needed.
• Ensure a safe working environment by following safety procedures and regulations.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and keep equipment healthy.
• Document actions, irregularities, and ongoing requirements across shifts.
• Complete production and quality logs; maintain thorough records.
