Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Surrey, BC, is seeking a CNC Machinist to operate and maintain machinery while programming modifications to existing programs. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of CNC operation experience, an understanding of G-code, and strong analytical skills. Qualifications

• At least two years of prior CNC machine operation experience.
• Understanding of and experience with G-code files.
• Familiar with machine tools and mechanical assembly.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain lathe and milling machines.
• Program and code modifications to existing programs.
• Review drawings and blueprints for accurate production.
• Monitor production and adjust feed settings as necessary.
