Mantech Enterprises Inc. in North Vancouver, BC is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our engineering, design, and manufacturing team.

You will operate and optimize CNC milling and turning processes, ensuring quality parts and on-time delivery within our integrated shop. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of CNC experience, CAD/CAM knowledge, ERP familiarity (ProShop a plus), and strong communication to work across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software and programming.
• Familiarity with milling and turning processes.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably ProShop ERP.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Adaptable to changing environments and problemsolving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely, high-quality machine shop throughput delivering parts within deadlines.
• Maintain compliance with documentation, QA, and AS9100D requirements.
• Follow and improve existing processes and procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized department.
• Collaborate with shop lead and other teams to optimize workflow.

Job Description

Reporting to the Machine Shop Lead, we are actively looking for a CNC Machinist.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and high-quality machine shop through-put by delivering top-quality parts within allotted timeframes.
• Ensure personal compliance with all documentation requirements, including time-tracking, quality assurance, operation completion, and AS9100D.
• Ensure personal compliance with existing team standards.
• Follow and help improve existing processes and procedures.
• Champion the maintenance of a safe and clean department.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience. Journeymen, Red Seal Endorsed or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software. Modelling and CAM, long-hand, and macro programming would all be beneficial. Fusion experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of CNC milling, milling tools and milling holders.
• Knowledge of CNC lathes, and manual machine tools.
• ERP usage for planning, scheduling and managing work required. ProShop ERP experience is an asset.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Outlook, and Office.
• Strong communication and soft skills.
• Adaptable to rapidly changing and evolving environments.
• Creative approach to problem-solving.

You must be legally entitled to work in Canada. You must be a Canadian citizen, a Permanent Resident of Canada, be an approved refugee or have a Canadian open work permit to be allowed to work in Canada.
