GrizzlyTrek Group Ltd. in Edmonton, AB is hiring a CNC Lathe Operator for oilfield threading. This full-time, permanent role offers day shifts, immediate start, and overtime opportunities.

You will operate CNC lathes, set tooling, read drawings, and ensure quality and safety on the shop floor. We value 1–3 years of CNC experience in oilfield settings, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years operating CNC lathes in oilfield or related environments.
• Ability to read blueprints and machining drawings.
• Strong precision measurement and gauging skills.
• Familiarity with API thread connections is a plus.
• Red Seal Journeyman ticket, WHMIS, or First Aid considered assets.

Responsibilities

• Run a CNC lathe to cut API and premium tubular connections.
• Set up and change cutting tools, inserts, and tooling.
• Operate the tubular loading system.
• Read part drawings and plan machining sequence.
• Gauge threads and inspect finished parts with precision instruments.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and keep equipment clean.
• Mentor junior operators and support shop safety.
