Qualifications

• MUST be an experienced mill & lathe operator, preferred 5+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of safe and effective CNC setup practices.
• Knowledge of g-code and ability to troubleshoot programs.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathe and mill machines during night shift hours.
• Ensure quality of work meets Plainsman Mfg quality standards.
• Perform basic machine maintenance as needed.

Skills

Ability to speak, read and write English

Knowledge of CNC programming and control operations

Minimum 3 years experience in CNC operations

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Knowledge of machine tooling and its use

Basic computer experience

Education

High school diploma/GED or equivalent
