Location: Edmonton, Alberta
Compensation: $28.00 to $34.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday
Overtime: Available based on shop demand
Start Date: Immediate
Reports To: Machining Supervisor
Experience: 1 to 3 years in a similar oilfield, industrial, commercial, or construction setting
Certifications: Red Seal Journeyman ticket, WHMIS, and First Aid considered an asset
Looking for steady, year round machining work close to home? GrizzlyTrek is seeking one CNC Lathe Operator to join our valued client’s team in Edmonton. You will cut API and premium oilfield tubular connections in a modern machine shop, on a full-time permanent day shift with overtime available.
Reporting to the Machining Supervisor, you will run the equipment, set your own tooling, gauge your own work, and help keep quality and safety standards high on the shop floor.
You will work indoors in a modern threading shop running CNC lathes on precision oilfield tubulars. Safety, quality, and teamwork run the floor. Expect noise, metal chips, cutting fluids, and steady handling of tools and tubulars through the shift. Full PPE is required at all times: safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility clothing, and CSA approved boots.
