Job summary

Structure SBL Inc. is seeking a CNC machining operator to operate and set up machines for repetitive operations and to verify part dimensions with precision tools. You will prepare etching solutions and immerse parts to remove excess material, while performing routine maintenance on equipment.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience or equivalent, with focus on accuracy, dexterity, and reliability in a noisy workshop environment. Safety boots and 40-hour weeks are expected.

Qualifications

• Educational background: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent from a 1- to 2-year program.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in relevant roles.
• Or equivalent experience in machining environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations.
• Verify dimensions of parts machined using precision measuring tools.
• Prepare etching solution and immerse metal parts to remove unwanted portions.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Enter codes specifying speed, feed and cut for CNC machines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work space.
