Job summary

PolR Insulations in Montreal is seeking a CNC Operator to set up, operate and monitor 2-axis and 3-axis CNC machines, ensuring precise metal machining and high-quality parts. You will read work orders and blueprints, measure dimensions with tape measures, perform routine maintenance and uphold safety protocols while collaborating with the manufacturing team.

Fluent French is required; two years in manufacturing is preferred, with steady shifts, opportunities for growth and a focus on accuracy

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in the manufacturing sector as a machine operator.
• Ability to read purchase orders and tape measures.
• Experience in operating 2-axis and 3-axis CNC machines (asset).
• Spoken and written French: excellent.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints and technical drawings;
• Accurately measure dimensions, weights and depths;
• Set up and operate numerically controlled machine(s) to perform machining operations;
• Prepare etching solution and immerse parts or metal to remove excess material;
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment;
• Follow safety protocol;
• All other related job tasks.
