Job summary

Flynn Group of Companies in British Columbia is seeking a CNC Brake Press Operator for our Metals Production team. This full-time role reports to the Metals Production Manager and operates at our Surrey facility.

You will set up tooling with programmers, inspect parts, support continuous improvement, and provide daily reports. Candidates should have 3+ years of experience with CNC press brakes, sheet metal fabrication training, and familiarity with HMI interfaces.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as primary operator of CNC press brakes.
• Sheet metal worker or metal fabrication trade training.
• Strong folding systems and material handling knowledge.
• Experience with machine HMI interfaces and diagnostics.
• Understanding of process capability and tolerance stack-up.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC brake press and associated accessories.
• Set up tooling and work offsets with programmer.
• Diagnose process issues and communicate with teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and training.
• Perform basic quality inspections.
• Assist in samples and feasibility studies.
• Tally daily totals and provide reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
