Job summary

VIA Rail Canada is seeking a Delivery Manager for the CMMIS initiative within the LDRR program. Lead end-to-end delivery, manage cross-functional teams, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time, on-budget integration and governance.

Your role will require coordinating with IT Operations for a smooth handover and ongoing support, while reporting progress to senior leadership. A bilingual, senior IT project manager with 10+ years of experience is ideal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; PMP is an asset.
• A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Minimum of 10 years of IT project management experience.
• Experience with maintenance processes and EAM systems.
• Strong stakeholder management with program delivery focus.
• PM experience in maintenance, transportation, or large-scale projects; railway industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of the CMMIS project within the LDRR program.
• Manage internal teams and external suppliers for system integrations.
• Define gates, acceptance criteria, and governance for project delivery.
• Ensure smooth transition to IT Operations and business teams.
• Provide regular progress reporting and risk/issue management.
