Job summary

Fidelity Manufacturing, LLC. in Calgary, Alberta, is hiring a full-time CMM Programmer/Operator to inspect machined components using Hexagon CMM equipment and PC-DMIS.

You will develop and execute CMM programs, perform first article and in-process inspections, and verify results against manual measurements to ensure accuracy. The role supports audits and quality documentation in a busy manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School education or equivalent.
• Reading engineering/manufacturing drawings is required.
• GD&T principles knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate Hexagon CMM equipment to perform dimensional inspections of machined components.
• Develop, modify, and execute CMM programs using PC-DMIS in accordance with drawings, GD&T, and customer requirements.
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections, ensuring accurate and repeatable results.
• Verify CMM results against manual measurements to confirm accuracy.
• Review inspection results, identify nonconformances, and communicate findings to management.
• Maintain accurate inspection reports and quality documentation.
• Assist with troubleshooting quality issues and improving inspection methods.
• Support internal quality audits and compliance with the QMS.
• Maintain a clean, organized inspection area.
• Assist with other quality-related tasks as required.

Job description

We are currently hiring for a full-time CMM Programmer/Operator for our Manufacturing facility in Calgary, Alberta

Duties Include:

• Operate Hexagon CMM equipment to perform dimensional inspections of machined components
• Develop, modify, and execute CMM programs using PC-DMIS in accordance with engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer requirements
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections, ensuring accurate and repeatable results
• Verify CMM results against manual measurements when appropriate to confirm accuracy and identify potential measurement discrepancies
• Review inspection results, identify nonconformances, and communicate findings to the management
• Maintain accurate inspection reports and quality documentation
• Assist with troubleshooting quality issues and improving inspection methods and processes
• Support internal quality audits and compliance with the quality management system
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional inspection area
• Assist with other quality-related tasks as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum High School education or equivalent
• Certification in manufacturing or quality control considered and asset
• Mandatory that this role take part in a criminal record check and controlled goods screening

Experience:

• 2 to 5 years of work experience in quality control
• Experience reading engineering and manufacturing drawings required
• Experience in the machining industry is considered an asset
• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc
• Knowledge of GD&T principles and concepts is considered an asset?
• Experience with CMM operation or programing is considered an asset

Core Work hours:

• 7:30am-4:00pm Monday - Friday
