Marwood International in Tillsonburg, Ontario is seeking a CMM Programmer/Operator to develop and run CMM/Scanner programs, perform inspections, and support PPAP submissions. You'll ensure dimensional accuracy and data reporting while maintaining equipment and contributing to a safe, quality-focused environment.

The role offers a steady day shift (Mon-Fri) with overtime after 40 hours and a competitive hourly rate.

Formación

• 2+ years technical experience operating CMMs, scanners or 3D scanners.
• Strong GD&T, blueprint and CAD interpretation.
• 5 years related experience in Tier 1 automotive manufacturing.
• 3 years experience with stamping, welding and assembly.
• Proficient computer skills including MCOSMOS, Windows, Excel, Word, Polyworks.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate inspection requirements with QA and production groups.
• Develop CMM/Scanner programs for full dimensional layouts and PPAP reports.
• Provide CMM/Scanner verifications and statistical analysis.
• Create and maintain inspection documentation.
• Maintain CMM/Scanner and perform validation checks.
• Perform inspection using micrometers, height gauges, calipers, indicators, etc.
• Conduct annual dimensional part layouts and capability studies.
• Verify tooling and fixture dimensions to the design specifications.
• Maintain weekly/monthly reporting metrics.
• All other duties as directed by the Director/Manager of quality.

Rate: $33.23 per hour

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Coordinate inspection requirements for plant & customer needs with advanced quality and production group(s)
• Develop the required CMM/Scanner programs to conduct full dimensional part layouts and capability studies with appropriate reports for PPAP submissions based off customer/internal requirements
• Provide CMM/Scanner verifications/statistical analysis to support problem investigations
• Create and maintain proper documentation of inspection results
• Maintain CMM/Scanner in good working condition and perform validation checks during and after machine use
• Perform inspection using a variety of other precision measurement equipment (i.e. micrometers, height gauge, calipers, indicators, etc.) to ensure conformance to specifications
• Conduct annual dimensional part layouts and capability studies on current parts as required
• Verify dimensional accuracy of tooling and check fixtures to the design and drawing specifications as required
• Maintain weekly and monthly reporting metrics
• All other relevant duties as directed
• Other tasks as assigned by the Director/Manager of quality to meet customer requirements

Key Requirements

• Grade 12, GED, or equivalent
• 2+ years previous technical experience operating CMM's, scanners or 3D scanners
• Extensive knowledge of GD& T, Blueprint & CAD data interpretation
• 5 years related experience in Tier 1 Automotive manufacturing
• 3 years' experience with stamping, welding and assembly processes
• Computer efficiency and systems knowledge in all required areas (i.e. MCOSMOS, Windows, Excel, Word, Polyworks)
