Insight Global is seeking two CMM Planners to join a top aerospace company’s quality manufacturing group in Longueuil, QC. This on-site role focuses on translating engineering requirements and MOS into detailed CMM inspection plans to ensure dimensional and quality compliance before production release.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams, preparing inspection packages, reviewing MOS and blueprints, and supporting CMM program development and debugging.

Insight Global is seeking (2) CMM Planners to join a top aerospace company's quality manufacturing group out of Longueuil, QC. This role is 5x week onsite.

The CMM Planner is responsible for preparing complete inspection packages that enable accurate, repeatable Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) inspections in a production environment. This role bridges Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality by translating engineering requirements and Manufacturing Operating Sheets (MOS) into detailed inspection plans that ensure parts meet all dimensional and quality requirements prior to production release.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive CMM inspection packages to support first article and production inspection.
• Review Manufacturing Operating Sheets (MOS) and engineering blueprints to understand the full manufacturing process from raw material to finished product.
• Define how parts will be inspected to ensure compliance with engineering and quality requirements.
• Work closely with CMM Programmers to translate inspection plans into executable CMM programs.
• Review and analyze First Article Inspection (FAI) data to validate conformity to requirements.
• Provide approval and release of CMM programs for production use once requirements are met
• Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and debugging of CMM inspection issues

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Metrology, or related technical discipline.
• Experience with CMM inspection and metrology principles.
• Experience working with MOS or manufacturing planning documentation.
• Knowledge of First Article Inspection (FAI) processes and quality requirements.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Background in aerospace or high‑precision manufacturing environments
• French proficiency is strongly preferred

Compensation:

$38/hr to $50/hr
