Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Interoperability Specialist for a top Aerospace client based in Longueuil, Quebec. The role focuses on mechanical parts for Model-Based Definition, manufacturing, and inspection initiatives.

The candidate will leverage 3D technology and automation within product definition, manufacturing, and quality control to achieve improvements in on-time delivery, quality, and cost before inspection. The position is on-site five days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a mechanical engineer or mechanical designer.
• Experience using CATIA.
• Knowledge of manufacturing inspection processes.
• Knowledge of metrology principles, GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Interoperability Specialist for a top Aerospace client based in Longueuil, Quebec, working on Mechanical parts for Model-Based Definition, Manufacturing, and Inspection initiatives.
• Leverage 3D technology and automation by embedding it within product definition, manufacturing and quality control practices to improve on-time delivery, quality and cost before inspection.
• Role includes working on Model-Based Definition and integration with manufacturing processes on-site in Longueuil.

In this role, the selected candidate will leverage 3D technology and automation by embedding it within product definition, manufacturing and quality control practices to achieve significant on-time-delivery, quality and cost improvements before inspection. The position is 5x week onsite in Longueuil QC.
