Job summary

ServiceNow, Inc. seeks a Manager of Systems Engineering to lead a global cloud infrastructure team responsible for the Canadian sovereign cloud on GCP and related initiatives across Azure, AWS, and GCP. You will drive technical direction and align engineering work with product roadmaps.

You will recruit, mentor, and evaluate engineers, define standards, and ensure high availability and scale while collaborating with cross‑functional partners to deliver on ambitious commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or automating workflows.
• Leads systems/software development and engineering in a global 24x7 production environment.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and drive complex projects to completion.

Responsibilities

• Own the deployment, management and support of Canadian sovereign cloud on GCP and global clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Lead the engineering team responsible for compute across private and public cloud infra.
• Define and communicate team commitments and roadmap with Product and Program management.
• Assist with project planning, prioritization, Agile processes, and skill development.
• Support growth via hiring, goal setting, and performance reviews.
• Provide technical guidance for optimization and architectural reviews.
• Assess risks and maintain high availability and scale of core services.
• Collaborate with peer teams on global engineering efforts and timelines.
• Set and sustain technical standards and best practices.
