Job summary

F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG in Canada seeks a Kubernetes Reliability Engineer to design and operate a massively distributed Kubernetes platform across hybrid cloud environments, including on-prem and AWS.

You will automate deployments, build self-healing features, and drive reliability. You'll collaborate with global teams, mentor others in DevOps practice, and ensure compliance with Quality/Regulatory standards while delivering high-availability services in a complex, multinational healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• CKA certification is a strong plus.
• Experience with AWS and EKS deployments and managed services.
• Strong scripting in Python, Bash, or Go and familiarity with test automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate a highly available Kubernetes platform across hybrid cloud deployments.
• Develop automation to reduce operational work and improve reliability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and self-healing features for distributed services.
