Job summary

Apera, a Vancouver-based leader in robotics, AI, and machine vision, is seeking a Software Developer, Cloud Infrastructure (Co-Op) for an 8-month term Jan 2027–Aug 2027. You’ll build and improve cloud services powering our vision-guided robots, working with AWS or GCP, and learning IaC practices.

Based in our Vancouver office, you’ll learn DevOps, telemetry ingestion, observability, secure-by-design cloud infrastructure, and collaborate with Robotics, Vision, and Software teams to deploy

Qualifications

• Co-op term commitment of 8 months (Jan 2027 – Aug 2027).
• Hands-on experience with cloud services powering robotics systems.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code and cloud security basics.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve cloud services on AWS or GCP.
• Work with data and telemetry from robotic systems.
• Learn reliability, observability, and monitoring practices.
• Apply secure engineering principles in cloud infrastructure.
