Job summary

Insight Global in Toronto, Canada, is seeking an engineer to join a bank's smart infrastructure and cloud team. This contract role is a minimum of 6 months with a potential extension and a hybrid schedule: 4 days in the office each week.

Day-to-day: monitor vulnerability findings, investigate root causes, remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities across cloud and Kubernetes, maintain IaC with Terraform, and track work in Jira for audit readiness.

Qualifications

Strong programming/scripting in Python, Go, Bash or similar.
Kubernetes platforms and cloud infrastructure experience.
Solid understanding of IaC concepts and Terraform usage.
Experience in Financial Services or other highly regulated environments.

Responsibilities

Monitor vulnerability findings through VMG and security dashboards.
Investigate security findings, determine root cause, validate false positives, prioritize remediation.
Remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities across cloud and Kubernetes environments.
Modify and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) configurations.
Track findings and remediation in Jira tickets to closure.
Monitor AI-driven automation for vulnerability triage and compliance activities.
Document remediation activities, compliance status, and vulnerability trends for audits.
