Job summary

The Toronto-Dominion Bank in Toronto, Ontario invites applications for a DevOps Engineer to join our Technology Solutions team. You will contribute to platform design, deployment, and automation, working across Linux-based infrastructure and cloud environments to deliver scalable services.

You will collaborate with architects and business partners to implement automated build/deploy processes, maintain configurations, and ensure security and resiliency.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate required; Graduate degree preferred.
• 7+ years relevant experience in DevOps or related field.
• Experience in Linux-based infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Experience with big data technologies and distributed systems.
• Strong automation, scripting, and programming skills (Python/Java).
• Knowledge of CI/CD, IaC, and monitoring/logging practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and lead in system and application administration and deployment management.
• Identify and implement solutions to enhance availability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated build and deploy processes.
• Coordinate with architects and business leaders to ensure alignment with standards and priorities.
• Develop and maintain environment configurations across platforms and data stores.
• Ensure security, disaster recovery, and compliance requirements are met.
