Job summary

Okta is seeking a Services Architect - CIAM to be a technical authority on cloud and on-prem IT systems for customer identity projects. You will drive requirements, document solutions, and lead delivery for CIAM implementations with executive stakeholders.

This role sits in the Professional Services delivery team and travels up to 50%. You will combine deep security, IAM, and cloud experience with strong communication to translate business needs into actionable strategy and high business value

Qualifications

• 8+ years IT / software development experience
• 3+ years consulting experience
• 3+ years driving application architecture design
• 3+ years with IAM architectures
• 3+ years implementing cloud solutions (AWS, Google Apps, Salesforce)
• Experience with B2C/B2B customer identity use cases (registration, MFA, SSO, delegated administration, social identities)
• Ability to interact with CxOs and executives
• Experience leading discovery workshops
• Experience developing functional and system design specifications
• Strong knowledge of Security Architecture, LDAP, AD, SAML, SSO, RBAC, OAuth, OIDC, XML, SOAP, JSON, REST
• Familiarity with IAM providers
• Experience integrating On-Prem and SaaS products
• Excellent communication to non-technical audiences
• Architected distributed systems
• Consultative to lead customers
• Clear and dynamic communication
• Ability to travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

• Lead gathering of business, functional and technical requirements for an Identity platform powered by Okta
• Document common technical and functional requirements for solutions
• Support creation of project plans to develop and implement proposed solutions
• Provide technical leadership and oversight within the PS delivery team
• Assist in periodic customer health-checks and project reviews
