Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to lead design and evolution of technology solutions across ERP, BIM/VDC, data analytics, and enterprise-wide integrations. You will balance business needs with security, cost, and scalability in a multi-site environment.

Responsibilities include delivering architecture documents, guiding teams, and ensuring alignment with ISO 27001:2022 and privacy by design principles, with a hybrid work model and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Information Technology, including at least 5 years as a Solution Architect in complex and multidisciplinary environments.
• Experience delivering large-scale digital transformation projects, ideally within pan-Canadian or multi-site organizations.
• Expertise in application architecture, integration architecture, APIs, cloud technologies (Azure), DevSecOps, CI/CD, UML modeling, event-driven architecture, and microservices.
• Strong understanding of ERP environments, construction site platforms, BIM/VDC ecosystems, data platforms, and integration solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design application and integration architectures translating business requirements into deliverable architectures.
• Produce architecture deliverables including HLD/LLD, diagrams, and ADRs aligned with policy.
• Collaborate with Governance and delivery teams to translate requirements into feasible technology solutions.
• Define non-functional requirements including observability, monitoring, and disaster recovery, and ensure security and privacy compliance.
• Serve as architectural authority for development teams and guide technical evaluations of vendors.
