Job summary

Techso seeks a Cloud Administrator – Microsoft Azure to design, deploy, secure, and optimize cloud environments for diverse client projects in Montreal and beyond.

You will collaborate with business and technical teams to translate client needs into scalable solutions, applying DevSecOps practices and ensuring high performance and security across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five+ years of experience in a similar cloud administrator role.
• Strong expertise in large-scale virtualization and cloud environments.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Good knowledge of Linux, Windows, and macOS environments.
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools, including Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Good understanding of DevSecOps, certificate management, and cloud security practices.
• Experience implementing monitoring, alerting, and performance management solutions.
• Ability to analyze business needs and recommend appropriate cloud architectures.
• Natural leadership skills and the ability to bring multidisciplinary teams together.
• Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented approach; willingness to meet clients in Montreal area.
• Strong communication skills in French and English.

The Profile We’re Looking For

You have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
• A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role;
• Strong expertise in large-scale virtualization and cloud environments;
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure or AWS;
• Good knowledge of Linux, Windows, and macOS environments;
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools, including Ansible;
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools and processes;
• A good understanding of DevSecOps, certificate management, and cloud security practices;
• Experience implementing monitoring, alerting, and performance management solutions;The ability to analyze business needs and recommend appropriate cloud architectures;
• Natural leadership skills and the ability to bring multidisciplinary teams together;
• A proactive, structured, and solution-oriented approach;
• Strong adaptability and prioritization skills;
• The flexibility to meet with clients throughout the Montreal area;
• The ability to communicate professionally in both French and English, as you will collaborate with colleagues and clients located across Quebec, Canada, and internationally.

Nice to Have

• A Microsoft Azure certification;
• Experience with penetration testing or cloud security assessments;
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform;
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins;
• Knowledge of observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana, or Prometheus;
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies;
• Experience in solution architecture or cloud governance;
• Consulting experience or experience working across multiple client environments.
