Job summary

Techso in Montreal is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to design and develop digital solutions for clients in Canada and internationally. You’ll influence architectural decisions, mentor developers, and help improve development practices.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 6+ years of Java with Spring Boot, frontend with React/Angular/Vue, SQL with Hibernate, and solid DevOps/CI/CD experience in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• At least six years of Java development experience.
• Strong expertise in object-oriented Java development and Spring Boot.
• Solid front-end experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and Hibernate.
• Good understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and deployment practices.
• Experience working in an Agile and collaborative environment.
• Proficiency with Linux and Windows environments.
• Ability to communicate in French and English with colleagues and clients.

Techso is looking for a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to help design and develop digital solutions used by leading clients in Montreal and internationally.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, contribute to architectural decisions, mentor less experienced developers, and help improve our development practices.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop new applications;
• Enhance existing solutions by adding new features and resolving issues;

The Profile We're Looking For

You Have

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• At least six years of experience in Java development;
• Strong expertise in object-oriented Java development and Spring Boot;
• Solid experience in front-end development using React, Angular, or Vue.js;
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and tools such as Hibernate;
• A good understanding of DevOps practices and continuous integration and deployment environments;
• Experience working in an Agile and collaborative environment;
• Good knowledge of Linux and Windows environments;
• The ability to communicate professionally in both French and English, as you will collaborate with colleagues and clients located in Quebec, across Canada, and internationally;
• Strong teamwork skills, autonomy, and a genuine desire to actively contribute to the solutions delivered.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure DevOps;
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases;
• Experience with ETL processes;
• Knowledge of other technologies such as Node.js, Python, C#, PHP, or other complementary programming languages;
• Experience in solution architecture, mentoring, or technical pre-sales.
