Job summary

Techso in Montreal is seeking a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer to help design and develop digital solutions used by clients across Canada. You will influence architectural decisions, mentor junior developers, and contribute to best practices.

The role requires strong C#/.NET, front-end skills (React/Angular/Vue), and experience with DevOps and Agile. You may travel within the Montreal area to meet client needs and collaborate with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience with Microsoft .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, Web API).
• Strong front-end experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new applications.
• Enhance existing solutions with new features and maintenance.
• Contribute to architectural designs that meet client needs.
• Write and maintain technical and functional specifications.
• Estimate development effort for new solutions and enhancements.
• Participate in production deployments and change management.
• Ensure code quality via reviews, unit tests, and best practices.
• Support CI/CD and automated deployment processes.
• Participate in pre-sales efforts including effort estimation and tech assessments.
• Mentor junior team members and stay current with emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary Agile Scrum teams.

Techso is looking for a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer to help design and develop digital solutions used by our clients across Canada.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, contribute to architectural decisions, mentor less experienced developers, and help improve our development practices.

What You'll Do

Depending on the projects assigned to you, you will:

• Design and develop new applications;
• Enhance existing solutions by adding new features, resolving issues, and providing ongoing maintenance;
• Contribute to the design of innovative solution architectures that meet client needs;
• Write and maintain technical and functional specifications;
• Estimate the development effort required for new solutions and enhancements;
• Participate in production deployments and support change management activities;
• Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and software development best practices;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Agile practices, continuous integration, and automated deployment processes;
• Participate in pre-sales activities, including effort estimation and technology assessments;
• Share your expertise and mentor junior team members;
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices;
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary Agile Scrum teams.

The Profile We're Looking For

You Have

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• At least six years of experience with Microsoft .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, Web API);
• Strong experience with front-end development using React, Angular, or Vue.js;
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and tools such as Entity Framework;
• A solid understanding of DevOps practices and continuous integration and deployment environments;
• Experience working in an Agile and collaborative environment;
• Good knowledge of Linux and Windows environments;
• The flexibility to travel within the Montreal area to meet client needs;
• The ability to communicate professionally in both French and English, as you will collaborate with colleagues and clients located across Quebec and Canada;
• Strong interpersonal skills, autonomy, and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure DevOps;
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases;
• Experience with ETL processes;
• Knowledge of other programming languages such as Java, PHP, Node.js, or Python;
• Experience with MAUI, Xamarin, or Telerik;
• Experience in solution architecture, mentoring, or technical pre-sales.

You don't need to master every one of these technologies. Above all, we're looking for an experienced, curious professional who can adapt to a variety of projects.
