Job summary

Centricity Research Toronto LMC Multispecialty is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator to independently coordinate studies, conduct visits and phlebotomy, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with Investigators and the research team to drive accurate, compliant study activities.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in health/science, 3+ years of clinical research experience, and hands-on phlebotomy qualification in Canada.

Qualifications

  • Have a bachelor's degree in a health, science, or research-related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Have at least 3 years of clinical research experience, including demonstrated experience coordinating studies and conducting participant visits.
  • Have hands-on phlebotomy experience and are currently qualified to perform phlebotomy in Canada.
  • Have strong knowledge of medical terminology, GCP, study protocols, SOPs, and clinical research documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate study visits in accordance with protocol, GCP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure participant safety and well-being, reporting adverse events per protocol and regulations.
  • Perform clinical procedures such as vitals, ECGs, sample collection/processing, and investigational product handling.
  • Support recruitment strategies to identify and enroll eligible participants.
  • Schedule and coordinate study visits throughout the participant lifecycle.
  • Prepare for and support monitoring visits, audits, and inspections.
  • Complete study documentation, regulatory records, and periodic reports.
  • Collaborate with investigators, management, and sponsors to ensure study compliance and accuracy.

Centricity Research is one of the largest clinical research networks in North America. We area fully centralized Integrated Research Organization (IRO) specializing in conducting Phase I-IV clinical trials in over 35 therapeutic areas: inpatient and outpatient; pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device trials.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, full-time, permanent Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to join our new Centricity Research Toronto LMC Multispecialty site team. In this role, you will independently coordinate clinical studies, conduct participant visits and phlebotomy, and work closely with Investigators and the broader research team to ensure study activities are safe, organized, accurate, and compliant with protocol and regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for a proactive coordinator who can take ownership, adapt quickly, and contribute immediately in a growing team environment.

Compensation

Base salary range: $55,000-$62,500. This role is eligible for incentive compensation.

What you'll do
Study Coordination & Participant Safety
  • Conduct study visits in accordance with protocol, GCP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure participant safety and well-being, reporting and documenting adverse events per protocol and regulations
  • Perform clinical procedures such as vitals, ECGs, sample collection/processing, and investigational product handling
Recruitment, Screening & Enrollment
  • Support recruitment strategies to identify and enroll eligible participants
  • Conduct participant screening according to protocol inclusion/exclusion criteria
  • Guide participants through the informed consent process and ensure proper documentation
  • Schedule and coordinate study visits throughout the participant lifecycle
Study Execution & Data Integrity
  • Accurately complete study documentation, regulatory records, and periodic reports
  • Prepare for and support monitoring visits, audits, and inspections
  • Perform regular quality control (QC) checks on study data and source documents
  • Collaborate with investigators, management, and sponsors to ensure study compliance and accuracy
  • Contribute to site start-up activities, including feasibility questionnaires (FQs) and pre-study visits (PSVs)
Quality, Compliance & Site Support
  • Support lab supply inventory, equipment maintenance, and administrative needs
  • Assist with community engagement and outreach events as needed
You Might Be a Great Fit If You:
  • Have a bachelor's degree in a health, science, or research-related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

  • Have hands-on phlebotomy experience and are currently qualified to perform phlebotomy in Canada.
  • Have strong knowledge of medical terminology, GCP, study protocols, SOPs, and clinical research documentation requirements.
  • Experience across multiple therapeutic areas, such as vaccines, obesity, rare diseases, or Alzheimer's disease, is considered an asset.
  • Are organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at prioritizing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Are a self-starter who can work independently, take ownership of assigned studies, and become productive quickly with limited supervision.
  • Communicate openly, collaborate effectively, and contribute positively to a new and growing site team.

The pay range for this role is:

55,000 - 62,500 CAD per year (Centricity Research Toronto LMC Multispecialty)
