Job summary

The OSI Clinic, part of The Royal, in Kingston, Ontario, provides specialized mental health assessment and treatment to clients referred by VAC, RCMP and DND. The psychologist will deliver evidence-based treatment within an interdisciplinary team and contribute to research and education activities.

Qualifications include a CPA/APA-accredited doctorate in clinical psychology, Ontario registration, and experience in trauma-related disorders; bilingual ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Doctorate from a CPA/APA Accredited Clinical Psychology Program.
• Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario is mandatory.
• Autonomous practice is preferred; authorized area of practice in Clinical Psychology mandatory.
• Experience working in an interdisciplinary service delivery model.
• Experience with trauma, PTSD, anxiety and mood disorders using evidence-based approaches.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic interviews and write diagnostic reports.
• Administer and interpret standardized psychological assessments.
• Provide evidence-based individual and group psychological interventions.
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team and liaise with external agencies.
• Participate in supervision, training, and academic activities; contribute to program evaluation.
