Job summary

The Manager of Clinical Practice at Bayshore HealthCare in Ontario leads delivery of care and supervises field staff, coordinating clinical education and in-service activities. They ensure compliance with internal and external standards of practice and assume branch operations in the absence of the Director.

The role emphasizes developing care plans, supervising both licensed and unlicensed staff, participating in HR and business development, and promoting quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, preferably with a Bachelor of Nursing degree; current registration with the provincial regulating body.
• At least five years of recent experience with progressive responsibilities as a Nursing Supervisor, preferably in a community setting.
• Experience in developing and evaluating training programs, handling HR policies, and business development is preferred.
• Strong report writing and communication skills; valid driver’s license and CPR certification included.

Responsibilities

• Assess or arrange for the initial and ongoing assessment of clients requiring licensed and unlicensed care and service as appropriate.
• Develop and/or ensure that care plans are available for clients as appropriate; visit clients as required and update care plans as appropriate.
• Supervise and support licensed and unlicensed employees to ensure compliance with all standards and company policies.
• Lead or assist with client satisfaction initiatives; address and document client concerns promptly.
• Coordinate the in-service education program for Field employees and maintain records.
• Lead or assist with recruitment, orientation, training, and performance reviews of Field staff.
