Job summary

CareRx Corporation is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for our Edmonton Pharmacy to ensure safe, accurate dispensing and high-quality patient care. You will collaborate with the pharmacy team and care staff to provide timely medications while upholding regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes clinical expertise, organized workflow, and the ability to work independently in a supportive, non-retail environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).
• Ability to collaborate with health care team and residents care staff.
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills.
• Knowledge of Kroll Windows application preferred.
• Critical thinking and prioritization abilities.
• Self-directed with minimal supervision.
• Motivated to maintain high quality standards.
• Good listening skills and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately and safely while providing patient care.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team to ensure timely dispensing of orders.
• Consult with pharmacy management on unresolved issues.
• Provide exceptional customer care to patients and home partners.
• Communicate with resident care team per corporate policies.
• Manage medication procedure reviews and documentation.
• Follow provincial and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Maintain and monitor pharmacy inventory; assist with training.
