Job summary

Vision Group's LASIK MD clinic is seeking a Clinical Patient Advisor to guide prospective patients from consultation to informed decision, translating medical information into clear, personalized value.

You will meet patients after their pre-operative assessment, present vision correction options and pricing, coordinate surgery dates, and maintain accurate records while upholding compliance and patient trust. Join a team with strong training and a supportive culture.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience in consultative sales, client development, or any results-driven role is considered an asset.
  • Experience in the medical, aesthetic, optical, or luxury service sectors is considered an asset.
  • Warm, poised, engaging with strong communication and trust-building abilities.
  • Willingness to travel to other clinics for training (expenses covered).
  • Schedule availability Monday to Friday 8:00–5:00 and Saturdays on a rotating basis 8:00–16:00.

Responsibilities

  • Support patients throughout their journey and help their decision-making process to contribute to clinic growth.
  • Meet with prospective patients after their pre-operative assessment.
  • Translate medical information into clear, personalized value and clarify information from the medical team.
  • Help patients navigate pricing options and payment methods with discretion and professionalism.
  • Book surgery dates and coordinate logistics.
  • Maintain accurate records in the patient file and ensure compliance.
  • Follow up with patients to improve treatment through proactive, personalized touches.

CLINICAL PATIENT ADVISOR

We are seeking a high-performing, people-oriented communicator to join our medical clinic team as a Clinical Patient Advisor. In this role, you will act as a trusted point of contact for prospective patients who have completed a consultation for a vision correction procedure (LASIK or IOL surgery), helping them navigate to a confident decision.

A LOOK AT OUR BENEFITS
  • A permanent, full-time position (approximately 40 hours per week). Please note that weekly hours are based on operational needs, may vary, and are not guaranteed.

YOUR TASKS AT A GLANCE
  • Support patients throughout their journey and play a key role in their decision-making process, while contributing to the clinic’s growth.
  • Meet with prospective patients immediately following their pre-operative assessment
  • Serve as a bridge between clinical expertise and personal decision-making, translating medical information into clear, personalized value.
  • Clarifying information they received from the medical team
  • Helping patients navigate their decision with clarity, compassion, and confidence
  • Clearly and transparently present vision correction options, benefits, and financial aspects
  • Guide patients through pricing options and payment methods
  • Adapt your communication approach to match each patient’s mindset, concerns, and motivations
  • Book surgery dates and coordinate logistics
  • Maintain accurate records in the patient file and follow compliance standards
  • Maintain a high rate of patient follow-through to treatment using trust-building strategies and proactive, personalized follow-ups
  • Record short, personalized video messages, voice messages or calls to patients as reminders, or warm touchpoints to improve treatment follow-through, as required

  • You understand how to guide someone from hesitation to clarity, through presence and insight
  • You are highly articulate and have experience in high-touch roles such as client services, health care, aesthetics, hospitality, or coaching
  • You understand timing and verbal pacing. You know when to reassure, when to listen, and when to help someone make the next move
  • You’re comfortable discussing pricing with discretion and professionalism
  • You’re detail-oriented and organized. Someone who can juggle multiple files while staying focused
  • You are results-oriented and able to work independently as well as collaboratively

  • You are comfortable traveling to other clinics for training (and/or) work (expenses covered by Vision Group).
  • Schedule: You are available to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays on a rotating basis from 8:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m.
