Job summary

CAMH is seeking a full-time, permanent Clinical Manager for Medical Withdrawal Services at its Queen Street Site in Toronto. You will provide leadership for interprofessional teams, oversee HR tasks, and drive educational development while aligning with the CAMH strategic plan.

You will manage budget planning, engage stakeholders, and support practices that promote equity, diversity and inclusion within a dynamic addiction care environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, psychology, social work, healthcare administration or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of progressive supervisory experience in a unionized environment.
• Experience managing an inpatient unit preferred.
• Specialized knowledge of addictions and concurrent disorders; liaising with diverse disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate interprofessional teams; provide human resource leadership including recruitment, orientation and scheduling.
• Participate in service planning, development, implementation and evaluation.
• Identify and develop educational requirements; supervise clinical team; implement evidence-based practices.
• Support budget planning and monitoring; align with CAMH Strategic Plan.
• Engage internal and external stakeholders; maintain partnerships with community providers.
• Participate in negotiations with Bargaining Agents; promote a psychologically healthy, safe, diverse workplace.
