Qualifications:

• BScN required, Master's in Nursing an asset
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) with no restrictions
• Minimum of 2 years related clinical experience in areas such as:
• Acute inpatient surgery or medicine
• Long Term Care
• ALC/CCC/Rehab
• Mental Health
• Community
• Labour and Delivery
• Pediatrics
• Minimum 2 years previous clinical teaching experience
• Previous experience or employment at the agency is an asset

Duties:

• Responsible for clinical group instruction
• Evaluation of all course assignments, including midterm and final evaluations
• Provide support to students outside scheduled course times as needed
• Complete mandatory placement agency training requirements
• Review and adhere to Nipissing University and School of Nursing policies and procedures
• Attend a mandatory orientation meeting for new and returning clinical instructors at the start of the term
