Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical healthcare field.
• Master's degree in health-related field, CS, or MBA is a plus.
• At least 8 years of clinical experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a management role.
• Minimum 5 years in a clinical informatics role or equivalent electronic documentation experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and other network software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

JOB SUMMARY :

The incumbent coordinates and ensures the progress and alignment of the implementation of an integrated IT system. A significant part of this role will involve providing clinical information and engaging nurses and allied health professionals across the Network in the need for and implementation of a standardized, integrated Clinical Information System (CIS), with a focus on improving clinical workflow and business processes. The Network's Deputy Chief Clinical Information Officer will provide clinical insights and build support among clinicians for the need for and implementation of a standardized, province-wide integrated clinical information system.

EXIGENCES

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical field of healthcare;
• Master's degree in a health-related field, computer science, or business administration is an a plus;
• Minimum of eight (8) years of clinical experience;
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a management role;
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a clinical informatics role or relevant experience in a facility using electronic documentation;
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered;
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and other software applications used within the Network;
• Demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines;
• Ability to establish productive partnerships and value the contributions of collaborators;
