Job summary

Alberta Health Services is seeking a dependable Environmental Services staff member to perform cleaning and laundry duties in clinical and non-clinical areas. You will disinfect surfaces, restock supplies, and handle linen, supporting a safe, orderly healthcare environment.

The role requires physical stamina, adherence to safety, and the ability to operate cleaning equipment. Casual/Relief status with flexible shifts and location in Fort McMurray.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent.
• Knowledge and operation of computers and smartphones.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive movements.
• Physically capable to lift up to 25 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and disinfecting on all surfaces in clinical and non-clinical areas.
• Restocking supplies in bathroom facilities and linen duties.
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment for floor maintenance.
• Identify hazards and report to supervisor; may train staff.
