Job summary

Sienna Senior Living's Glen Rouge Long Term Community in Ontario is seeking an Associate Director of Care, a temporary full-time leadership role overseeing clinical operations, guiding nursing staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance to support residents' health, safety, and dignity.

You will lead care planning with healthcare professionals, monitor care quality, supervise RNs/RPNs/LPNs and PSWs, and foster a collaborative, resident-centered culture with ongoing education and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN/BScN) or equivalent post-diploma education.
• Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in long-term care; 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership to nursing staff to ensure safe, person-centered care.
• Oversee clinical operations and regulatory compliance to support resident health and safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans; monitor and improve care quality.
