Medicentres Canada Inc. is seeking an entry-level Clinical Aide to support physicians and clinic operations in Dickinsfield. You will perform nursing tasks under physician supervision, assist with procedures, and manage patient intake and charting.

Qualifications

• A medical degree from a school of medicine listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools.
• Successful completion of MCCEE or MCCQE.
• Experience with EMR (Med Access, CHR, Accuro) software.
• Excellent communication, listening and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent clinical and customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information in compliance with provincial privacy legislation.
• Computer skills including Excel and Word are an asset.
• CPR – Health Care Provider BLS is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of care interventions and medical procedures as permitted and supervised by the physician.
• Set up and assist with minor surgical procedures.
• Assist with cast applications and removals.
• Administer injections and vaccinations.
• Prepare patient for complete medical examinations.
• Record vital signs and patient measurements accurately.
• Assist with pelvic examinations and IUD procedures.
• Maintain sterile supplies and equipment.
