Job summary

Medicentres Canada Inc. is seeking an entry-level Clinic Operations Assistant to support day-to-day clinic activities at the Belle Rive location.

This role collaborates with the Clinic Manager, physicians, patients and vendors to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient operations. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of related education and 1–2 years clinic experience, with strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2-3 year college diploma in business or related field.
• 1-2 years clinic experience.
• Previous supervisory experience is an asset.
• Customer service focus with strong communication skills.
• Time management skills.
• Detail oriented with exceptional problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to be adaptable and flexible.
• Ability to handle confidential information in compliance with the Health Information Act guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Clinic Manager to achieve performance goals including patient retention and satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, processes and procedures.
• Maintain optimal levels of medical and office supplies.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
• Handle patient concerns efficiently per customer service standards.
• Foster a customer service culture for patients and physicians.
• Support strategic initiatives affecting clinic operations and values.
• Lead EMR training for new physicians and staff.
