Job summary

Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre is seeking a Clinical Aide to support the Primary Care team across PQCHC locations. You will help with patient flow, collect vital signs, stock supplies, and assist with infection control and equipment maintenance.

The role requires a PSW certificate or equivalent, strong English communication, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Bilingualism and a valid driver’s license are assets; a full-time schedule with 35 hours/week is offered in Ontario.

Qualifications

• PSW certificate or equivalent health care experience.
• Certification in reprocessing medical equipment or infection control.
• Driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Ability to work at multiple locations.
• Post-secondary training in a medical office environment an asset.
• Proficiency with computers and various software applications.
• English is mandatory; bilingualism is an asset.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Confidentiality and physical stamina for a high-activity role.

Responsibilities

• Manages client flow and monitors vital signs.
• Orders and maintains clinic and exam room supplies and inventory.
• Coordinates biohazard waste disposal and infection control practices.
• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and well maintained.
• Assists practitioners and reprocesses equipment per policy.
