Job description

Govier Expert Tree Service, in Campbellford, is looking to hire a Climbing Arborist or Bucket Operator.

Job Duties:

· Motivated, friendly & professional individual who is passionate about tree care & has a strong team work ethic, ability to show up on time.

· Ability to lift 60+ pounds

· Ability to work in all weather conditions

· Climbing Arborist Job Requirements:

· Climbing trees for removal and pruning

· Groundwork including running lines, moving brush, chipping, & cleaning up the site

· Maintenance & safe operation of chainsaws

Bucket Operator:

· Operate aerial lift/bucket truck to reach tree limbs and branches.

· Perform tree pruning, removal, and other tree care services.

· Ensure job site safety for crew members, clients, and the public.

· Inspect equipment daily and report any maintenance issues.

· Assist ground crew with clean-up and rigging when not operating equipment.

· Prior experience operating a bucket truck or aerial lift.

· Knowledge of safe tree trimming/removal techniques.

· Strong attention to safety and detail.

Qualifications:

· Experience in the tree care industry

· ISA Certification an asset, but not necessary

Additional Information:

· Wage based on experience $25.00 – $35.00
